Scary Aunt Sally is a series of children's books created to raise awareness of dementia, reduce fear and misunderstanding, and show how families and communities can support those living with the condition.

Through warmth, humour and real-life experiences, these stories help children understand how dementia can change a person's ability to remember and look after themselves — but never takes away who they are.

Inspired by a real-life experience of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease, the stories are rooted in the challenges faced by families living with dementia.
